Mr. Peskov: Russia is making every effort to bring peace to Southeast Ukraine
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 12, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is making every effort to promote the implementation of the Minsk peace agreement to bring peace to the southeastern region of Ukraine, and will continue to do so in the future.

Referring to Moscow's influence in the Donbass region, Mr. Peskov emphasized that the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Luhansk need to solve urgent problems such as ensuring security, paying pensions, and providing people with access to medicine and essential services, because the influence of any country cannot distract the leaders of these self-proclaimed republics from these tasks.
Also at the press conference, the Kremlin representative affirmed: "More than 70 heads of state and heads of government were present in Paris. Here, President Putin had a short discussion with many of them. Mr. Putin discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for about 10-15 minutes about current issues in bilateral relations."
In addition, according to Mr. Peskov, President Putin also had a brief discussion with his US counterpart Donald Trump, and the two sides agreed to discuss issues related to the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) on the sidelines of the upcoming G20 summit in Argentina.
