Sputnik cited a decree published on the Russian federal legal information portal saying that President Putin dismissed 11 generals, including 4 generals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 1 general of the Federal Enforcement Agency, 5 generals of the Investigative Committee and 1 general of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
However, the decree did not specify the reason why President Putin dismissed these officials.
