Trump just arrived in Japan and immediately praised the bravery of American soldiers.

"The bravest soldiers in the world" - that was the compliment that US President Donald Trump gave to American soldiers, when he just arrived at the US Yokota Air Force base in Japan.

"No one - no dictator, no regime, no nation - should ever underestimate the resolve of the American people. Time and time again in the past, people have underestimated us, and it's always worked out badly for them, hasn't it?" Trump said in a speech to service members at the air base.

"The United States will never back down, never waver, and will never abandon its responsibility to protect its people, its freedom, and its great American flag," Trump promised.

Trump arrived in Japan as part of his Asian tour - as reported by the media. He will also visit South Korea, China, Vietnam, attend the APEC summit and then visit the Philippines.
