Breaking up a gambling ring worth over 40 billion VND per month
Tran Van Tuan's line organized hundreds of people to bet on football and lottery via the Internet, with a total transaction value of more than 40 billion VND.
Tuan (32 years old, Hiep Duc district) and 8 others are being detained to investigate their behavior.Organizing gambling via the Internet, lending at high interest rates in civil transactions, Criminal Police Department (Quang Nam Provincial Police) said on February 10.

On February 8, searching many locations of the network, authorities seized more than 161 million VND and related documents.
Investigation results determined that in early January, the ring organized hundreds of people to gamble online, with a total amount of more than 40 billion VND.
Expanding the case, authorities summoned 10 other people involved.
