According to the investigation agency, after a period of monitoring, at 1:00 p.m. on December 9, in Vinh Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district), the working group of the Criminal - Economic - Drug Crime Investigation Police Team (Nam Dan District Police) caught Tran Duy Tan (born in 1973, residing in Vinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) and Nguyen Hong Dung (born in 1992, residing in Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district) in the act of illegally buying and selling firecrackers.

Evidence seized at the scene was 91.6 kg of various types of firecrackers such as mortars, firecrackers, etc.

In this case, Tan played the role of the person who invested capital to buy fireworks from a stranger residing in Dien Chau district, then brought the goods home to hide.

Dung was in charge of finding customers to buy fireworks from Tan to earn commissions. On the afternoon of December 9, when Tan and Dung were gathering goods on the roadside waiting for their partners to come buy, they were arrested.

Nam Dan District Police are temporarily detaining both suspects for illegally trading in firecrackers. The case is under further investigation./.
