Assigning Government members to prepare for the 2nd Session of the 14th National Assembly

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just assigned Government members to prepare a number of reports and contents for the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly, scheduled to open on October 20, 2016, and close on November 22, 2016.

The Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Finance to prepare the Government's Report on the equitization of state-owned enterprises.

The Minister of Home Affairs prepares the Government's Report on the improvement of the apparatus of the Government, ministries, ministerial-level agencies and local authorities according to the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Authorities since the 12th Party Congress.

The Minister of Education and Training prepares the Government's Report assessing the fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training according to Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 4, 2013 of the Party Central Committee; assessing the results of innovation in the 2015-2016 school year exams and the expected 2016-2017 school year exams; the results of the teaching program according to the new Vietnam model (VNEN); the planned inclusion of foreign language subjects (Russian, Chinese...) in educational programs.

The Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Planning and Investment to prepare the Government's Report on the Economic Restructuring Plan for the 2016-2020 period according to the Resolution of the National Assembly on the socio-economic development plan for 2016. At the same time, preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of Health, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Natural Resources and Environment to prepare and supplement the content of "Direction of implementation of solutions to ensure food hygiene and safety" and "climate change situation causing damage to the socio-economy, solutions to overcome in the coming time" in the Government's Report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2016 and the socio-economic development plan for 2017.

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment prepares and supplements the content of "Lessons learned and solutions to protect the environment" in the Government's Report on overcoming the consequences of marine environmental incidents.

The Minister of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to prepare and supplement the content of "Management and effective use of ODA capital in the period 2011 - 2015" in the Government's Report on the objectives and orientations for mobilizing and using loans and managing public debt.

The Government Office coordinates with relevant ministries and agencies to supplement the content of "Direction of implementation of solutions to ensure food hygiene and safety" and "Climate change situation causing damage to the socio-economy, solutions to overcome in the coming time" in the Government's Report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2016; the socio-economic development plan and state budget in 2017 presented by the Prime Minister at the Hall.

The Ministry of Justice shall preside over and coordinate with ministries and ministerial-level agencies: Public Security, Government Inspectorate, and Government Office to urgently prepare a Government Report explaining the failure to submit to the National Assembly two draft laws: Law on Commune Police and Law on Anti-Corruption (amended) at the 2nd Session of the 14th National Assembly./.
