Striving to build Nam Dan into a new rural district by 2017

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 26, the Provincial People's Committee announced the conclusion No. 787/TB-UBND signed by Mr. Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the content of building New Rural Areas in Nam Dan district in 2017, including the content of supporting 10,000 tons of cement for Nam Dan to build rural traffic and invest in infrastructure in some communes.

According to the report, currently, Nam Dan has 18/23 communes meeting the new rural standards. Therefore, Nam Dan needs to strive to have 5 more communes meeting the new rural standards in 2017 so that by the end of 2017, 23/23 communes will meet the new rural standards and strive for the entire Nam Dan district to meet the new rural standards. The district People's Committee focuses on directing, allocating resources reasonably, and integrating project programs so that the remaining 5 communes can reach the new rural standard. Directing Kim Lien commune to speed up the progress of building a model new rural area.

The Provincial People's Committee agreed to support Nam Dan with an additional 10,000 tons of cement to connect roads between communes, and assigned the Department of Finance and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and support. The Provincial People's Committee will also prioritize allocating central budget capital in 2017 to Nam Tan commune and other infrastructure proposals according to the allocated limit./.
