Launching the online contest "Learning about Traffic Safety Law"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 2, more than 600 teachers, students, and officials from agencies and departments in the province participated in the launching ceremony of the online contest "Learning about Traffic Safety Laws" on the Nghe An province electronic information portal in 2015.

The contest “Learning about Traffic Safety Law” was first organized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in the form of an online multiple-choice test on the provincial Electronic Information Portal. The contest content includes general knowledge about legal regulations; skills in handling traffic situations, controlling vehicles, overcoming consequences and resolving traffic accidents; civilized behavior when participating in traffic, obeying the law and propagating traffic safety laws.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Propaganda and dissemination of laws on traffic safety and order is one of the key solutions, requiring more attention from all levels, sectors and the whole society.

The contest is an opportunity for everyone to have favorable conditions to access knowledge about traffic safety and create a strong change in people's awareness of voluntarily complying with traffic safety laws; contributing to reducing violations of traffic safety laws, reducing traffic accidents and forming "Traffic Culture" for everyone.

Youth union members responded to the contest at the ceremony.

The contest was officially launched on November 2 and lasted for 4 weeks for Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals currently living, working and studying in Nghe An province.

Each week, the organizing committee will finalize the results once with 16 prizes, including 1 first prize worth 2,000,000 VND. At the end of the contest, there will be 01 Collective prize for the agency, unit, or organization with the most total entries over 4 weeks of competition.
