On December 8, news from the Customs Branch of Da Nang International Airport said: The unit is completing procedures to hand over 2 guns illegally imported into Da Nang International Airport.
Previously, at 10:40 p.m. on December 4, during customs procedures for flight KE463 from Incheon (South Korea) to Da Nang, the Customs force discovered a missing piece of luggage.

During the inspection, the customs officers at the Da Nang International Airport discovered two guns in the luggage: one Winchester gun, made in Japan; one Gietcher gun and 700 metal bullets; and seven copper ammunition tubes. The branch temporarily detained the exhibits for handling according to the law.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoan, Head of the Customs Branch of Da Nang International Airport: Through initial verification, the lost luggage belonged to Ms. Le Thi Kim C., address K185/4 Hoang Dieu, Da Nang, entering Da Nang on December 3, 2015 at the Da Nang International Airport.
Currently, the Customs Branch of Da Nang International Airport has decided to temporarily detain the two illegally imported guns and is continuing to prepare documents for handling according to regulations. The case is also being further investigated by the authorities.
