Man found unconscious with multiple injuries on highway

(Baonghean.vn)- At around 0:10 a.m. on August 9, people in Huoi Mac village, Lang Khe commune (Con Cuong district) discovered a man about 45 years old lying unconscious on National Highway 7A with many wounds on his body.

Con Cuong District Police and local authorities took the victim to the Southwest Nghe An Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment.

The victim is currently being treated at the Southwest Nghe An Regional General Hospital.

Doctor Ha Van Quynh - Deputy Director of the Southwest Regional General Hospital said: "The patient was admitted to the hospital in a deep coma, with many injuries on the face and body. Through treatment, CT scans revealed: the patient had fractures of the temporal bone and the walls of the jaw, and the right eye socket. Brain parenchyma was bruised, hemorrhage under the right cerebral hemisphere, and hemiplegia on the right side of the body. The conclusion was a traumatic brain injury.

Up to this point, the victim's identity has not been determined, the patient is still in a deep coma.

Con Cuong District Police are currently investigating the case.

Initial suspicions are that the victim was murdered or had an accident. The Con Cuong District Police Department is investigating the cause of the incident.
