Also participating in the monitoring delegation were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Finance; Provincial Inspectorate; and Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the District People's Committee and representatives of several communes affirmed that the support policies under Resolution No. 125 of the Provincial People's Council have been put into practice, contributing to encouraging farmers to invest in production and promoting economic development in the district. After nearly 10 months of implementation, up to now, 10/25 policies under Resolution No. 125 of the Provincial People's Council have been applied and deployed in the district.

Mr. Nguyen Vuong Ngoc - Vice Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee affirmed that the implementation of agricultural support policies in the district has had positive impacts on the district's economic development.

Regarding the policy of supporting orange seed prices, the district has implemented it for households growing about 25,000 orange trees, equivalent to 55 hectares. The district has also implemented a policy to support the conversion of crop structure in some rice growing areas without proactive water sources to growing high-quality sweet potatoes, corn, and squash; support the construction of centralized livestock slaughterhouses; support irrigation for upland crops; support machinery for agricultural production....

Representative of Tay Thanh Commune People's Committee presented some specific results in the locality.

However, the biggest difficulty at present is that although some policies have been implemented, the procedures are complicated and have not been disbursed. The funding source for implementing the policies has not met the demand. From the difficulties, Yen Thanh district proposed that the province increase the level of support for building centralized slaughterhouses, buying tractors and transplanters to encourage agricultural commodity production, support product consumption and output for farmers, and support land accumulation for large-scale production.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duong - Head of the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed that the province add some policies to encourage the development of commodity agriculture.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the district's active participation in bringing agricultural policies to farmers, positively impacting the local economic development.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested relevant departments at the provincial and district levels to coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles. Yen Thanh is an agricultural district, so it is necessary to focus on taking care of the agricultural and rural "front" with the motto of promoting internal strength, integrating the policies of the Central and the province in a reasonable manner, avoiding dispersion and achieving high efficiency.
