Developing community tourism in Tan Ky

(Baonghean.vn) - The project "Developing community tourism in Tien Ky commune, Tan Ky district to 2020 with a vision to 2025" was approved by the People's Committee of Tan Ky district in mid-October 2017. The goal of the project is that by 2020, Tan Ky will welcome 3,500 tourists and by 2025, it will welcome 8,000 tourists to the area.

The reason the district chose Tien Ky commune as a highlight for developing community tourism is because: Tien Ky has a landscape of mountains, forests, streams, lakes, dams, and many caves associated with the traditional culture of the Thai ethnic group.

These are the stilt houses of the households, brocade weaving, bamboo and rattan products; Mo cave in Thai Minh village, Ke On, Ho Chung cave; Le Loi citadel... The Thai ethnic people here still preserve the annual army celebration festival in August; they also preserve many traditional musical instruments: Pi Nhuon, Khen Be, flute... combined with singing and dancing, drinking rice wine, bamboo pole dancing; games of throwing con, tug of war, pushing sticks, walking on stilts... Tien Ky also has many attractive dishes of the Thai people.

The project's goal is to turn Tien Ky into an attractive tourist destination, commensurate with its potential and advantages. Strive to welcome about 3,500 tourists by 2020. Total revenue from tourists in 2020 in Tan Ky is expected to reach 1,600 million VND, by 2025 it is expected to reach 5,000 million VND, creating jobs for people in the commune.

Currently, Tan Ky district is mobilizing all resources, calling for investment to renovate and build caves; upgrade inter-commune and inter-village roads; strengthen communal art troupes; restore traditional folk games...
