Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee: Need to improve the quality of political theory learning

(Baonghean.vn) - Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested that the Provincial Political School needs to promote its role and responsibility, focus on innovating content, methods and forms to improve the quality of political theory learning.

In recent times, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Political School has focused on leading and directing the implementation of political tasks well. The quality of training and fostering of cadres has been increasingly improved; the staff and lecturers have been increased in quantity and quality; scientific research activities and summarizing practices have received more attention; the school's material and technical facilities have been improved.

With a scientific approach, the school has exceeded the targets and training plans assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee; in 2016, it continued to teach and opened 76 new classes with 5,477 students.

With an objective, frank and honest spirit, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Political School has seriously reviewed, compared and identified 27 signs of degradation in the agency and in the collective and each individual in the Board of Directors in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th term).

On that basis, set out tasks, solutions and time to overcome in order to continue to build a comprehensively strong Provincial Political School; build a team of exemplary, intelligent and courageous civil servants and public employees; strive to turn the Political School into a prestigious center for training and fostering cadres, a center for scientific research and summarizing practices in the North Central region and the whole country, contributing to promoting the sustainable socio-economic development of the province.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son highly appreciated the serious, thoughtful and correct preparation work of the Provincial Political School. The review was conducted seriously in a frank and constructive spirit. The review conference of the Political School met the set requirements.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Political School should focus on improving the quality of professional activities and Party activities; especially for the school's cadres and staff who directly teach political theory, so they must have strong political will, be pioneers in updating knowledge of political theory; participate in refuting the arguments and distorted information of hostile forces.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted: Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (12th term) sets out the task of innovating the study of political theory. Therefore, schools need to promote their role and responsibility, focus on innovating the content, methods and forms of studying political theory; at the same time, linking theory with practice, bringing vivid practice into each lecture; and continue to improve the quality of staff and lecturers.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son requested the Provincial Political School to review the regulations and documents related to the school's organizational structure and operations, and perfect the school's organizational structure. After reviewing, the Board of Directors needs to organize a review of party members in the entire Party Committee in a high-quality and effective manner.
