Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council supervises projects using budget capital in Con Cuong
(Baonghean.vn) - Con Cuong district needs to pay attention to reviewing and proposing plans to allocate capital for key, urgent, and weak traffic projects. This is the issue raised by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Viet Duong at a meeting with local leaders.

The monitoring delegation inspected the field works using state budget capital such as: traffic road to Chau Khe commune center, traffic road from Mau Duc commune to Thach Ngan commune, traffic road from Con Cuong town to Binh Chuan commune.
On March 16, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, headed by Comrade Hoang Viet Duong, Member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, supervised the implementation results of a number of basic construction investment projects using the state budget in Con Cuong district. Also attending were comrade Tran Van Mao - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Departments of Planning and Investment, and Finance. |
Next, the delegation had a working session with the People's Committee of Con Cuong district. According to the report, in 2015 and 2016, the district had 297 projects and works using state budget funds.
The management and implementation of investment projects and basic construction works in the district are increasingly orderly, ensuring quality, meeting people's needs, contributing greatly to the socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the district.
However, for some complex projects, the capacity of local consulting units is limited, design and estimate documents must be adjusted many times, affecting the progress of the project. In addition, due to limited allocated capital, some projects are behind schedule; the supervision of construction quality is still limited and not strict.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Viet Duong highly appreciated the district's efforts in seriously implementing legal documents on basic construction investment, complying with the Law on Public Investment, focusing capital on key projects, and limiting the commencement of new projects.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also noted that the district needs to pay attention to the work of making annual and phased basic construction investment plans and local socio-economic development plans to ensure consistency.
In particular, the district pays attention to reviewing projects and works to propose plans to allocate capital for key, urgent, and weak traffic projects.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Viet Duong also acknowledged the district's recommendations and proposals to continue reporting to relevant agencies for research and resolution.
