In front of a large number of voters representing the people of Dien Xuan commune, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien said that after 2.5 days of active and urgent work, with a high sense of responsibility, the 9th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council completed the proposed content and program, ensuring quality, order and procedures according to legal regulations.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council reviewed and discussed the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first 6 months of 2019, unanimously assessing that the province's socio-economic situation had achieved quite positive results.

Focus on resolving voters' legitimate petitions
Also according to Ms. Cao Thi Hien, at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council spent a session to question and answer two main areas: Child protection, care and education and land management. Provincial People's Council delegates questioned frankly, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of voters; The answers to questions by heads of relevant agencies were focused and key, basically meeting the requirements of delegates and voters.
Before the 9th session, the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Council delegations compiled and sent to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council 123 opinions and recommendations from voters in districts, cities and towns in the province. At the session, the online telephone hotline and citizen reception department received 70 opinions, received 8 citizens and 8 petitions reflecting thoughts, aspirations and recommendations and proposals in areas such as: construction investment, land, implementation of regimes and policies, environmental pollution, education and training, agriculture, etc.
Based on the Reports of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council discussed and considered submitting 26 Resolutions (including 22 Resolutions on socio-economic development and 4 Resolutions on personnel work).

Discussing further at the meeting of the People's Council of Dien Xuan commune, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the efforts of the locality in the first 6 months of the year, in the context of many difficulties, notably the complicated developments of the African swine fever epidemic. At the same time, Ms. Cao Thi Hien suggested a number of contents that the People's Council delegates need to focus on discussing, clarifying the causes of the existing problems and limitations, and proposing effective solutions in the last months of the year.
Accordingly, the Commune People's Council needs to focus on further analysis and discussion on economic restructuring in accordance with reality, ensuring agricultural production is suitable for current conditions when climate change, weather, and epidemics are complicated. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to job creation, promote labor export, strengthen information and propaganda, and guide children to learn vocational skills and work in the province's industrial parks, ensuring "leaving agriculture but not leaving home".

Regarding the issue of merging hamlets, Ms. Cao Thi Hien emphasized that Dien Xuan merged 10 hamlets into 4 hamlets, although it is favorable because of similarities in culture, community activities, village spirit, and neighborhood spirit, but in terms of administrative procedures there are still problems.
