Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the extinguishing of forest fire in Dien Chau on the afternoon of July 10.

At 1:15 p.m. on July 10, a forest fire broke out in the Con Voi mountain area of ​​​​new hamlet 4 (old hamlet 8), Dien Loc commune, Dien Chau district, threatening to spread to the forest area of ​​​​Dien Phu commune.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee was directly present at the scene of the fire. Here, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu acknowledged and commended the local forces who did not hesitate to face difficulties and worked hard under the hot weather to put out the fire.

However, given the complicated developments of the fire, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu requested that the locality must send forces to be on duty 24/7, and prepare plans to evacuate people, especially the elderly and children. The most important thing is to ensure the lives and property of people living around the edge of the forest, near the fire area.

"The Army, Police, Border Guard, Forest Rangers, authorities and people must make every effort to extinguish the fire this afternoon because if the fire lasts until night, it will cause unpredictable consequences and firefighting will face many difficulties," emphasized comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu.

As of 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, the fire in Dien Loc has not yet been controlled. Currently, additional forces are being deployed to try to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to Dien Phu commune.
