After receiving information that 19 crew members on 2 fishing boats of fishermen Quynh Phuong, Hoang Mai town were in an accident, they were brought safely to shore at 3:00 a.m. on April 5, 2018.

According to a quick report from the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town, among the 7 seriously injured crew members, 1 is currently being treated at Viet Duc Hospital (Hanoi), 5 are being treated at Hoang Mai Town Medical Center, and one person in stable health was discharged from the hospital this morning.

Comrade Dinh Viet Hong and the delegation also visited the family of Mr. Hoang Van Phuong, the owner of the NA - 90427 ship with 9 crew members in the accident. Mr. Phuong's family is currently in a difficult situation because his wife is seriously ill and is being treated at the central hospital. The Vice Chairman also noted that departments and branches in Hoang Mai town should promptly encourage and visit fishermen and families of the victims; coordinate well with functional departments to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident to ensure the rights of fishermen.
