Deputy director of Duc Tho district hospital hanged himself at home

At around 10 p.m. on March 14, relatives were shocked to discover that Dr. Nguyen Trong Ly (born in 1959, Deputy Director of Duc Tho District General Hospital) had hanged himself at his home in Duc Tho town (Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province).

Morning of March 15, information to reportersVietnamese PeopleAccording to Duc Yen Commune Police, at around 10pm last night, relatives discovered Mr. Ly hanging himself on the first floor of his home. At the scene, authorities found an envelope marked "for mother and child only".

Doctor Tran Van Nhan - Director of Duc Tho District General Hospital said: "Around 8:00 p.m. last night, Doctor Ly was still at the hospital talking and singing with the union members. I don't understand why this heartbreaking incident happened two hours later."

Duc Tho district police and professional units are investigating and clarifying the case.
