Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue is the head of the Steering Committee for Anti-Money Laundering.
The Prime Minister has just decided to appoint members to join the Steering Committee for Anti-Money Laundering, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue.
The Steering Committee has two deputy heads, including Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Le Minh Hung (Standing Deputy Head), Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quy Vuong and 13 members.

According to Decision 470/QD-TTg dated April 13, 2009 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Steering Committee for Anti-Money Laundering, the Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in directing the development of strategies, guidelines, policies, programs, plans, mechanisms and solutions in the work of anti-money laundering. The State Bank is the standing agency of the Steering Committee. The Head of the Steering Committee authorizes the Governor of the State Bank to establish and operate a standing team to assist the Steering Committee.
