US Vice President Kamala Harris visits Vietnam from August 24-26
US Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Vietnam from August 24 to 26, at the invitation of Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
On August 23, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release stating: US Vice PresidentKamala Harriswill visit Vietnam from August 24 to 26, at the invitation of Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.

Previously, at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held on the afternoon of August 19, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang said that the program for the US Vice President's visit to Vietnam is being actively arranged by relevant agencies of Vietnam and the US.
"The visits of high-ranking leaders and exchanges of delegations at all levels of the two countries all aim to deepen the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership, for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world," Ms. Pham Thu Hang emphasized.
