Close and effective coordination in bilateral patrols to protect the border

On the afternoon of May 14, a delegation of armed forces from Xieng Khouang province (Lao PDR) led by Colonel Kham Thong - Political Commissar of Xieng Khouang Provincial Military Command visited and worked at the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province; Also joining the delegation was Colonel Bun Lot - Director of Xieng Khouang Provincial Police.

Receiving the delegation were Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard and comrades in the Command, leaders of departments, offices and agencies of the Nghe An Border Guard Command.

In recent times, the Nghe An Border Guard and the Police Force, the Military Command of Xieng Khouang Province have closely and effectively coordinated in bilateral patrols to protect the border. Fighting against all kinds of crimes, especially drug crimes. Propagating and mobilizing ethnic minorities on both sides of the border not to migrate illegally.

In addition, cooperation in various fields has also been strengthened. The relevant parties have increased information exchange, maintained security and order, and social safety in border areas, contributing to fostering the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
