According to the Anh Son District Department of Agriculture, heavy rains in the past few days have caused 158 hectares of summer-autumn rice, over 393 hectares of corn and other crops, 52.7 hectares of cassava to be flooded and damaged, 1,150 poultry were killed and swept away, 50 drainage culverts were damaged, 02 irrigation dams were eroded, and 2,600 m of roads were eroded and damaged. The district is focusing on directing localities to overcome the consequences of floods and continue production.

In addition, vegetables such as sweet cabbage, cabbage, and chayote are also severely affected, with rotten roots and rotten leaves, so people have to harvest early or uproot and replace them with new seedlings.

At the same time, mobilizing human resources to urgently harvest rice to avoid rotting and germination on the panicle.

* To promptly overcome the consequences, immediately after the flood, Thanh Chuong district leaders organized many working groups to go to localities with heavy damage.to direct the work of overcoming the consequences. The communes have focused on repairing houses, cleaning up the consequences of the tornado, and stabilizing people's lives.

According to Mr. Le Dinh Thanh - Deputy Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee, after providing emergency relief to severely damaged areas, the district is determined not to let people suffer from hunger and cold. Immediately after the flood, the district will count the damage, direct the organization of harvesting rice and flood-prone crops in flooded areas according to the motto "green house is better than old field", striving to harvest all summer-autumn rice areas by September 20.
