Preventing illegal migration from Vietnam to Australia by boat

(Baonghean.vn)-After 2 working days, on the morning of December 11 in Dien Chau, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in coordination with the Nghe An Border Guard Command, organized the closing ceremony of a training course on knowledge and communication skills on preventing illegal migration from Vietnam to Australia by boat.

Overview of the training class

At the training class, 30 people who are communication officers from Nghi Loc, Cua Lo Town and Dien Chau District were introduced by officers of the International Organization for Migration about the concepts of behavior change communication, the components involved in the communication process, the behavior change process, challenging factors affecting the communication process, communication channels and the communication triangle model; introduced the types of communication materials used in behavior change communication, advantages and disadvantages and how to use each type; personal communication and group communication, communication campaigns...

The training course aims to improve the effectiveness of communication skills in localities to prevent illegal migration from Vietnam to Australia by boat.
