Accordingly, at around 3:00 a.m. the same day, Long Binh Tan Ward Police, Bien Hoa City inspected Ngoc Linh karaoke bar owned by Tran Trung Nam (19 years old, residing in Bien Hoa City).
At the time of the inspection, there were dozens of people having fun in 3 rooms. In VIP room 1 alone, there were 17 young men and women illegally using drugs.
Also in this room, the police discovered many tools for drug use and bedding for the subjects' on-site activities.
Checking Tran Trung Nam's bedroom, the authorities discovered 8 homemade knives of various types and many metal tubes with sharp tips.
Through rapid testing, 17 people tested positive for drugs, all were then taken to headquarters for questioning.
Previously, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province had issued a document requesting the suspension of karaoke services, etc. to prevent the epidemic. However, this facility still welcomed guests inside to have fun.

Bien Hoa City Police have filed a case and are continuing to investigate the subjects' acts of "organizing illegal use of drugs" and "illegal use of drugs".
In addition, the Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control of Long Binh Tan Ward has also drawn up a record to handle the owner of the establishment for "not implementing the decision to apply measures to limit mass gatherings or temporarily suspend business and service activities in public places to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic".
