According to AFP, Mrs. Hillary Clinton returned to the US political stage on the occasion of the Sudan film festival when she pledged to defeat her Republican opponent Donald Trump next November.
A documentary called“Hillary” premiered at the prestigious film festival on January 25 before its global release.
In the film, Clinton makes caustic comments about Senator Bernie Sanders, her rival in the 2016 Democratic presidential race and the current frontrunner.
The move has garnered much attention in the US media, but not all of it has been positive.
At the film festival, however, Clinton focused primarily on Donald Trump.
Speaking to reporters, Mrs. Clinton stated: "I think we have to win. I don't think we can give this incumbent another four-year term... I think that's extremely dangerous for our democracy, and I will do anything to make sure that the Democratic Party wins this time."
