(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 15, the General Staff of Military Region 4 solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army on reorganizing the Electronic Warfare force of Military Region 4.

Accordingly, the Electronic Warfare force of Military Region 4 includes: The Electronic Warfare Department of Military Region 4 was established on the basis of reorganizing the Electronic Warfare Department of the Operations Department under the General Staff of Military Region 4 with the task of advising; the General Staff; the Military Region Command develops plans, documents to direct and guide electronic warfare tasks in the Military Region 4; organizes specialized training, ensures techniques and deploys measures to prevent electronic warfare in performing tasks.

At the ceremony, Major General Dang Trong Quan - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 assigned the task to the General Staff, directly the Electronic Warfare Department and Battalion 97, to quickly stabilize the organization and staffing in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense; strictly maintain order and combat readiness, build discipline, and train discipline.

Train cadres, professional soldiers and non-commissioned officers and soldiers to proficiently use weapons and equipment in the establishment; build a clean and strong Electronic Warfare Department Party cell and Battalion 97 Party Committee associated with a comprehensively strong unit, build a Party organization with a contingent of cadres and party members with sufficient qualities and capacity to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
