Que Phong: More than 6,000 households received rice to relieve hunger
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 10, Que Phong district distributed 390 tons of rice to hungry households in 14 communes and towns in the area.
In 2016, Que Phong district had 6,275 households facing hunger. To ensure timely relief for 25,980 people in the above households, Que Phong district requested the state to support rice from the national reserve. The district will support transportation costs to communes and villages in mountainous areas.

The District People's Committee directed strict inspection from the district to the grassroots level in distributing rice, implementing it publicly, fairly and to the right subjects.
