Que Phong commends collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2022 - 2023 school year

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training. On the side of Que Phong district, there were comrades: Sam Van Duyet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Duong Hoang Vu - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee; comrades Vice Chairmen of the District People's Council and People's Committee, leaders of district-level departments and offices, principals of schools in the area, and commended collectives and individuals.

In the 2022-2023 school year, with the attention and direction of all levels and sectors as well as the emulation to achieve achievements in commemorating the 60th anniversary of the district's founding, the Education sector of Que Phong district has made efforts, strived, concretized, implemented effectively, and achieved many outstanding achievements in carrying out the tasks of the school year. Up to now, the whole district has 12 schools inspected by the Department of Education and Training and recognized as having achieved level 2 quality accreditation and recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as having met national standards level 1, bringing the total number of schools meeting national standards to 29 schools, reaching 78.4% of the target set by the Resolution of the District Party Congress.

The work of universalizing education and eliminating illiteracy has been given attention and directed to be implemented resolutely by all levels and sectors. In the 2022-2023 school year, Que Phong district will continue to maintain and improve the rate of criteria and standards for eliminating illiteracy at level 2, universalizing preschool education for 5-year-old children, universalizing primary education at level 3 and universalizing lower secondary education at level 2.

Organize well the competition for excellent homeroom teachers and the competition for excellent teachers at all three levels, in order to create opportunities for teachers to share experiences with colleagues, as well as affirm their own professional and technical capacity. Along with that, discover and nurture teams of excellent students at all levels for schools, contributing to improving the quality of key points; at the District Science and Technology Competition, all secondary schools in the district participated, with 33 projects by 62 students. Some projects were topical, addressing "hot" issues in society, using locally available materials.

The industry has encouraged schools to create conditions for students to participate in provincial and national playgrounds and exchanges such as the "Vietnamese Champion Playground" Primary School Contest. In the 2022-2023 school year, there were 30 prizes in the Provincial Grade 9 Excellent Student Contest, 2 projects won prizes in the Provincial Science and Technology Competition; 4 prizes in the Provincial "Folk Song Singing in Schools" Contest and the high school graduation rate reached 100%.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training highly appreciated the achievements of the Education sector of Que Phong district in the past school year. To continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning in a mountainous district like Que Phong district, it is necessary to pay attention to a number of contents, such as re-planning the school network, gradually reducing the number of isolated points, planning to build ethnic boarding schools so that students in remote and disadvantaged areas have the opportunity to live and study well; improving the quality of the management team and teachers; building a professional, friendly and creative educational environment...

At the conference, 1 collective and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2022 - 2023 school year and 7 collectives with the title of Excellent Workers received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 1 collective and 3 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Department of Education and Training. On this occasion, the People's Committee of Que Phong district also awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 48 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2022 - 2023 school year; 38 collectives with the title of Advanced Workers, 169 Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level.
