This morning, the National Assembly continued to question the fourth group of issues in the field of transportation on the following contents: Solutions to improve the transport infrastructure system, limit traffic accidents nationwide, reduce traffic congestion in major cities; state management responsibilities in inspection activities; solutions to remove difficulties, improve the quality of inspection of road and inland waterway vehicles; management of transport activities, vehicle quality; training, testing, granting, revoking and managing licenses to operate road and inland waterway vehicles. In his concluding remarks, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue pointed out that after 2.5 days of working with great urgency, enthusiasm, concentration, intelligence and high responsibility, the National Assembly successfully completed the question and answer session at the 5th session. The question and answer session took place in a democratic, frank and enthusiastic atmosphere, attracting widespread attention and interest from voters and people nationwide.

Along with the four ministers responsible for answering, Deputy Prime Ministers Tran Hong Ha, Tran Luu Quang, and the Ministers of Finance; Planning and Investment; Agriculture and Rural Development participated in answering and clarifying the contents related to the four groups of questions on labor, war invalids and social affairs, science and technology, transportation and ethnicity. Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, on behalf of the Government, reported to clarify the issues under the Government's common responsibility and directly answered the questions of the National Assembly deputies participating in the question and answer session.

The National Assembly Chairman said that at this session, 454 National Assembly deputies registered to participate in the questioning; 112 National Assembly deputies exercised their right to question; 49 deputies debated to clarify issues, bringing the total number of deputies participating in the questioning in the first two years of the 15th National Assembly's term to 831 deputies, continuing to affirm that questioning and answering questions is a direct and effective form of supreme supervision of the National Assembly.

The National Assembly Chairman noted that through the question-and-answer session at the 5th session, it showed that the National Assembly deputies had seriously implemented the regulations in the 2022 Session Rules, especially the principles on how to question, exchange, and debate, ensuring the prescribed time, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility and closely reflecting the actual developments, life, thoughts, aspirations, and feelings of the people and voters nationwide.

The ministers, whether they were experienced in answering questions or were participating in answering questions for the first time, all demonstrated their mettle, grasped the current situation of the sectors and fields they were responsible for, were straightforward, did not beat around the bush, and did not avoid many difficult and complicated issues. Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, the Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers, and heads of sectors, with a high sense of responsibility, participated in serious explanations, helping to clarify many issues of concern to National Assembly deputies.

The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that the development of the question-and-answer session showed that the selection of 4 groups of questions this time was necessary, meeting the practical needs and wishes of the people and voters. The question-and-answer session continued to promote the spirit of "Dedication - Effort - Proactiveness - Passion - Responsibility" of the National Assembly deputies, the Government, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and ministers and heads of sectors. After this session and meeting, the National Assembly requested the Government, all levels and sectors to synchronously deploy solutions to better implement and create positive and clear changes for the issues that have just been questioned.

The National Assembly Chairman said that based on the questions of National Assembly deputies and the answers of Government members, and the conclusions for each question session on each group of issues, the National Assembly Standing Committee will direct research agencies to prepare a Resolution on question activities to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the end of the session, as a basis for organizing implementation and supervision according to regulations.
