Delegation of generations of National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum
On the morning of August 28, towards the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), a delegation of generations of National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province through the periods laid wreaths at the Mausoleum to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.
Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province led the working delegation.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates respectfully bowed before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their respect and deep gratitude for his great contributions - the genius leader of the nation, the founder and trainer of our Party, the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the founder of the Vietnamese National Assembly.
Nearly 80 years ago, on January 6, 1946, under the leadership of the Party, headed by President Ho Chi Minh, our people from North to South successfully conducted the first General Election in the whole country. The first National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born, representing the great unity of the entire nation.

This important historical event opened a process of building a new democratic regime - socialist democracy. The success of the General Election was decisive for the revolutionary cause of our people's struggle for national independence, democracy, equality and social progress.
During the program, the delegation visited the National Assembly Building - a building with special symbolic significance for institutions, democracy and the power of the People. Here, the delegates learned about the architecture, functions as well as recent innovations in the activities of the National Assembly.

The modern working space combined with traditional cultural and historical elements preserved in the Building left many deep impressions on the delegates. The delegation also visited and experienced the Dien Hong Room - where the plenary sessions of the National Assembly take place.
The delegation members were particularly impressed when visiting the exhibition area “Archaeological discoveries underground of the National Assembly”. This is considered an underground museum using modern, advanced museum display techniques, along with many priceless archaeological artifacts.
Also within the framework of the "return to the source" program, businessman Phan Van Quy - XIII National Assembly delegate of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pacific Group donated 500 million VND to be sent through the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province to households in the province to overcome the consequences of floods caused by storms No. 3 and No. 5.

The meaningful activities concluded the journey back to the roots of the delegation of generations of National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province, towards the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam.
Previously, on the morning of August 27, at the My Dinh National Convention Center (Hanoi), the delegation attended a meeting with nearly 2,000 National Assembly deputies of all periods, chaired by General Secretary To Lam.
