The National Assembly will appoint 50 senior State officials for the new term.
The first session of the 15th National Assembly (opening on July 20) will complete the key leadership personnel of the State, and at the same time complete the senior personnel (according to the Central Committee's recommendation, there are 50 personnel).
Since the 13th National Party Congress, the cadres at the provincial, municipal and grassroots levels have been basically strengthened. Regarding high-ranking State positions, at the ongoing 58th session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will also give opinions before submitting to the National Assembly.
At the first session, the 15th National Assembly, which will open on July 20, will complete the key leadership personnel of the State, as well as complete the senior personnel (according to the Central Committee's recommendation, 50 personnel) to complete all personnel work for the new term.

Accordingly, the National Assembly will consider, approve, elect or ratify the following positions: President, Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Assembly, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy; State Auditor General; Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, members of the National Assembly Standing Committee; Chairmen of National Assembly Committees; Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers and other members of the Government...
At the 2nd Central Conference of the 13th tenure (March 2021), the Central Executive Committee reached a high consensus on the need to promptly complete the leadership positions of State agencies immediately after the Congress to meet the requirements of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
The Central Executive Committee reviewed and decided to introduce personnel for the positions of President, Prime Minister, and National Assembly Chairman, and gave opinions on introducing personnel to hold 24 other leadership positions of state agencies. At the 11th Session of the 14th National Assembly (March - April 2021), the National Assembly elected or approved 27 positions. Of which, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc held the position of President, Mr. Pham Minh Chinh was elected Prime Minister, and Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue held the position of National Assembly Chairman.
Speaking at the opening of the 3rd Central Conference of the 13th tenure, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said that after the election of the 15th National Assembly (term 2021 - 2026), the Central Executive Committee is responsible for preparing and continuing to introduce personnel for the 15th National Assembly to elect or approve at the 1st Session of the 15th National Assembly in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and laws.
In addition to the positions of President, Prime Minister, National Assembly Chairman and 24 other leadership positions of State agencies that were introduced or approved by the 2nd Conference of the 13th Central Committee with a high number of votes of confidence, the Central Committee also highly agreed with the plan submitted by the Politburo on continuing to perfect the personnel of leadership positions of State agencies for the 15th National Assembly term. The Central Executive Committee agreed to propose and introduce 23 additional personnel to hold a number of State leadership positions for the 2021-2026 term.
The 2013 Constitution and the 2014 Law on Organization of the National Assembly stipulate that four positions must take an oath after being elected by the National Assembly, including: President, Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Assembly, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court./.
