The National Assembly considers and decides on State personnel work in April.
According to the scheduled program of the 11th Session, the National Assembly will spend 12 days (from Monday, April 4 to Saturday, April 16, 2016) to consider and decide on State personnel work.
On the morning of March 9, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the agenda of the 11th Session of the 13th National Assembly. Presenting the expected content and agenda of the 11th Session, Head of the National Assembly Office - General Secretary of the National Assembly Nguyen Hanh Phuc said that the session will last 22.5 days, from March 21 to April 16.

At this session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 7 bills including: Access to information; Signing, joining and implementing international treaties (amended); Press (amended); Protection, care and education of children (amended); Pharmacy (amended); Amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Value Added Tax, the Law on Special Consumption Tax and the Law on Tax Administration; Export tax, import tax (amended).
According to the program, after the opening session, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will present a supplementary assessment report on the results of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and the state budget in 2015; assessment of the results of the implementation of the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2011-2015, the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2016-2020.
Next, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan will present a report summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people.
Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Nguyen Van Giau will present a report on the supplementary assessment of the results of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks and the state budget in 2015; the results of the implementation of the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2011-2015, and the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2016-2020.
Also in the opening morning, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee's Petition Committee Nguyen Duc Hien presented a report on the results of supervising the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 10th Session of the 13th National Assembly.
At the 11th session, the National Assembly will review the 2011-2016 term summary reports of the National Assembly, its agencies, the President, the Government, the Prime Minister, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the State Auditor General. These sessions will be broadcast live on radio and television for people nationwide to follow and monitor.

Secretary General of the National Assembly, Nguyen Hanh Phuc, said that the Session will increase the time for live radio and television broadcasting, especially during sessions with reports on the term of office of the President, Government, Prime Minister, National Assembly, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, State Auditor General, and reports on socio-economic issues./.
