'Successful lady' leads huge drug ring
Ngan wears a lot of gold bracelets and diamonds, owns several houses and uses them as storage places for crystal meth.
On March 19, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC47) of Ho Chi Minh City Police arrested a large-scale drug trafficking ring led by Le Thi Ngan (48 years old).

Previously, the police discovered that Thai Vi Dan (44 years old) regularly sold drugs to drug addicts in Saigon and other sources in large quantities. Following his trail, the detectives found out that Ngan was the supplier.
Knowing that she had just collected billions of dong to import a large shipment of "goods", the task force decided to crack down on her. "Dozens of people were monitoring Ngan's henchmen and followers day and night. She was very vigilant, if she was careless, she would be exposed, so we encountered some difficulties," said the investigator.
On the night of March 14, Team 6 (PC47) stopped and arrested Dan on Pham Van Chi Street (District 6), confiscating a large bag of crystal meth he had just bought from Ngan to deliver to the dealers.
At the same time, another reconnaissance team coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (C47, Ministry of Public Security) to raid Ngan's house on Phu Dinh Street (District 8), catching her red-handed in possession of nearly 10 kg of methamphetamine that she had not yet hidden.

According to the investigation agency, Ngan directly contacted Cambodia to order drugs, then brought them to Ho Chi Minh City for sale. She had a comfortable life, always wore gold bracelets, diamonds and owned many houses. Neighbors around her considered her "successful".
Ngan lives with her second husband and six children. However, these people claim they did not know Ngan was a drug dealer.
The investigation agency is expanding the case.
