Acting Minister of Health: Localities speed up tracing and managing all people returning from Da Nang
This is the third consecutive time that the Ministry of Health has sent an Official Dispatch to provinces and cities requesting them to speed up the screening, verification, and management of all cases that have returned to their localities from Da Nang city since July 1, 2020.
On August 7, Acting Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long issued dispatch No. 1248/CD-BYT to the People's Committees of provinces and cities on strengthening the review, reporting the verification results, and managing cases that have returned to their localities from Da Nang since July 1.
This is the third dispatch sent following Dispatch No. 1167/CD-BYT dated July 29, 2020 and Dispatch No. 1191/CD-BYT dated July 31, 2020 of the Ministry of Health, aiming to speed up the screening, verification, and management of all cases coming to Da Nang city from July 1, 2020 and returning to the locality.
The Ministry of Health - the Standing Agency of the National Steering Committee requested the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to strengthen direction for relevant units to urgently and resolutely implement a number of contents.

At the same time, the organization deployed testing to identify cases through detecting SARS-CoV-2 virus antigens using Realtime RT-PCR technique according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
