On the morning of July 27, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired a meeting of the Government Standing Committee on COVID-19 prevention and control in the context of a number of positive cases recently appearing in Da Nang City.

Da Nang has proactively surrounded and isolated the outbreak. The health sector has increased staff directly entering Da Nang. Military Region 5 has mobilized chemical troops to disinfect areas where positive patients have tested positive. Da Nang has proactively taken a step of distancing, such as not gathering in groups of more than 30 people, and recommended procedures for passengers to leave Da Nang. Last night, airlines increased dozens of flights to take passengers out of the city.
