Quynh Luu: Support 35 million VND to build "Warm House of Love"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 17, the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district and the Women's Union of Quynh Hau commune held a handover ceremony of "Shelter of Love" to Ms. Nhu Thi Linh, a member with especially difficult circumstances.

Implementing the "Shelter of Love" movement launched by the Quynh Luu Women's Union, members raised 35 million VND to join hands to share difficulties with poor and single women.

Together with the District Fund for the Poor, the District Women's Union, mass organizations, and members... helped build a charity house for Ms. Nhu Thi Linh. After more than 2 months of construction, the 2-room tiled house was completed and put into use with a total value of 70 million VND, of which the family borrowed 35 million VND.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Party Committee, Fatherland Front and local organizations presented gifts to her on the inauguration day of her new house./.
