Quynh Luu: Fire burned down rice warehouse

(Baonghean.vn)- At 4:10 a.m. on February 28, a large fire burned down the entire rice warehouse of Mr. Nguyen Van Truat's family, residing in Hamlet 13, Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu District.

At that time, Mr. Truat's family was sleeping when they smelled a burning smell coming from the warehouse used to store the rice milling machine and rice. The family called for help from the people around to put out the fire, but because the house contained a lot of rice husks and firewood, the fire spread very quickly.

Upon receiving the news, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 4 dispatched 30 officers and fire fighting vehicles to coordinate with the Party Committee, the authorities of Quynh Thach commune and the people to participate in timely fire fighting. By 6:30 am on the same day, the fire was extinguished.

The fire burned down all the items in the rice warehouse.

The fire did not cause any human casualties but all the items in the warehouse were burned down. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
