Quynh Luu: The ground shook, hundreds of households panicked

(Baonghean.vn) - Some households in the area experienced ground shaking, causing cups and bowls to break; other household items were moved.

On the afternoon of April 2, Mr. Tran Quang Ve - Secretary of the Party Committee of Quynh Long Commune, Quynh Luu District said: "In the area, there has just been a phenomenon of ground shaking. Hundreds of families with high-rise buildings clearly felt this phenomenon."

Notably, this phenomenon also occurred in the neighboring commune of Quynh Ngoc. According to Mr. Tran Vinh Tra, Chairman of Quynh Ngoc Commune, Quynh Luu District, at around 6:00 p.m. on April 2, the ground shaking phenomenon also occurred in the area, causing panic among the people.

Accordingly, at around 6pm, many people in Quynh Long commune were startled when they suddenly heard an explosion and the ground shook for 2-3 seconds. Notably, some households in the area had broken cups, bowls and other household items moved.

It is known that this is the first time the phenomenon of ground shaking has occurred in the coastal and delta communes of Quynh Luu district.
