Quynh Luu: Launching campaign to clean up the beach environment

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 18, the Military Command of Quynh Luu district coordinated with the district police, district youth union and 5 communes in the coastal area to clean the environment and the beach.

Agencies including the District Military Command, District Police, District Youth Union and 5 coastal communes including Tien Thuy, Quynh Nghia, Quynh Luong, Quynh Minh, Quynh Bang, and two secondary schools Quynh Luong and Quynh Minh mobilized forces to clean up the environment.

Forces launched to clean the sea.

Within 1 day, with a total of about 500 people participating, they cleaned the environment, collected garbage, and cleared nearly 3 km of grass along the coast of Quynh Nghia commune. The collected garbage was then buried or burned.

In the coming time, the agencies will continue to mobilize forces to clean up the beach environment in the remaining communes with a total length of more than 8km.

This is a meaningful activity to bring a cleaner living environment, especially contributing to protecting the sea, attracting more and more tourists to Quynh beach.
