(Baonghean.vn) - To prepare for the first shrimp farming crop of 2019, Quynh Luu district recommends that farmers need to carefully control the source of seeds and the process of treating the water environment and pathogens for shrimp.
According to plan, in early March, shrimp farmers in Quynh Luu district will release a new crop of shrimp.with about 500 - 600 million shrimp seeds; of which 100% are white-leg shrimp with an area of nearly 500 hectares.

To successfully implement the shrimp farming plan targets and at the same time minimize risks for people, from the beginning of the year, communes with shrimp farming areas in the area actively directed people to dredge ponds and promptly repair damaged and degraded areas. In particular, the stage of treating water environment and pathogens is given top priority by people to avoid disease outbreaks during the farming season.
Up to now, nearly 100% of shrimp farming area in the district has completed preparation work, waiting for the right time, good water environment to be able to release new shrimp crop.

Along with directing people to prepare facilities for shrimp farming, Quynh Luu district alsoActively direct functional departments and offices to coordinate well in inspecting the production and business conditions of shrimp seed production facilities. At the same time, direct hatcheries to improve their capacity and product quality... Farms importing parent black tiger shrimp from Da Nang, Ca Mau, Binh Thuan provinces need to carry out strict quarantine work, avoid loopholes, ignore disease sources, causing losses to farmers.
