(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 27, the Department of Culture and Sports organized a summary of the Vi and Giam Folk Song Singing Contest and launched Vi and Giam folk song clubs of the Department of Culture and Sports.

The Vi and Giam Folk Song Singing Contest and the establishment of the Vi and Giam Folk Song Club of the Department of Culture and Sports on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Department of Culture took place from August 14 to 27, with the participation of 9 units under the Department of Culture and Sports.
The units have established Vi and Giam Folk Song Clubs and built contest programs in two forms: Creating clips for promotion on social networking infrastructure and performing live on stage.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Provincial Cultural Center and the Management Board of Kim Lien Relic Site. The Second Prize went to the following units: Ho Chi Minh Square Management Board, Provincial Relic Management Board, Provincial Library and the Office of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An. The Third Prize went to the Nghe An School for Gifted Sports and the Nghe An Museum.

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Cultural Sector, the Department of Culture and Sports organized a commendation activity, including: Awarding certificates of merit from the Nghe An Civil Servants' Union to grassroots trade unions of the Cultural and Sports Sector and union members of the sector who achieved achievements in the first 6 months of 2022; awarding certificates of merit from the Department Director to individuals and collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation campaign to celebrate the Traditional Day of the sector; honoring units in the cultural sector that won prizes at national festivals.
