Launching the model "Nghe An Provincial Youth Union participates in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level"

The model of "Nghe An Provincial Youth Union participating in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level" was established to promote the role and responsibility of youth union members in participating in activities to maintain security and order in residential areas, actively participating in the work of preventing, denouncing, fighting against crimes and law violations, solving issues related to security and order, contributing to the good work of ensuring security and order in the current period.

Through the implementation of model building as a basis for evaluating effectiveness, building and replicating advanced models, typical factors are the core in the movement of the whole people to protect national security.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Le Khac Thuyet assessed this as a practical model in the new situation. Discussing the social security situation in the province, the Colonel said that currently, security and order crimes are tending to be "younger" and spreading rapidly among the youth.

“More than 60% of crimes are committed by teenagers. Therefore, the implementation of the model must be “real” activities, not just formalities,” the Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police suggested.

In order for the model to operate specifically and effectively, Colonel Le Khac Thuyet proposed a number of solutions such as: each union official needs to do a good job of political and ideological work for himself, understand the laws of the State, and from there build propaganda materials for grassroots levels; select propaganda and mobilization factors so that young union members clearly understand the harmful effects of law violations; focus on propaganda in a number of key areas that have an impact on the age of young union members...

At the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Tuan Vinh said that over the years, Nghe An province's youth have actively participated in propaganda and mobilization on ensuring security and order. The establishment of the model "Nghe An province's Youth Union participates in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level" is to further concretize the activities of the Youth Union in building and ensuring social security.

At the ceremony, the staff and members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province also received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security for their outstanding achievements in the movement "All people protect national security" in 2017.
