Out of prison, remembering the grudge from 3 years ago, took a knife to kill his neighbor

Three years ago, Hieu was imprisoned for threatening to burn down his neighbor's house with gasoline. After returning from prison, remembering his anger, Hieu took a knife and stabbed his neighbor to death.

On the afternoon of August 9, the Investigation Police Agency - Thanh Xuan District Police, Hanoi, announced that the suspect who murdered Ms. Nghiem Thi H (born in 1963, in lane 144 Quan Nhan street, Nhan Chinh ward, Thanh Xuan district) had surrendered.

The murderer in the murder case that occurred in Nhan Chinh ward was Ho Thanh Hieu (born in 1980), the victim's neighbor. At around 9am on August 8, Hieu went home drunk and passed by Mrs. H's house. Seeing that the neighbor was not paying attention, he used a sharp knife to stab the victim twice in the shoulder. Due to heavy blood loss, Mrs. H died on the way to the emergency room.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the Thanh Xuan District Police Department arrived at the scene and identified the murderer of Ms. H as Ho Thanh Hieu, and at the same time persuaded the subject to surrender.

At the police station, Hieu confessed that he had a previous conflict with the victim and that it was because of Ms. H that he had to go to jail. On the morning of August 8, after coming home drunk, Hieu saw his neighbor and used a knife to settle the score.

It is known that due to conflicts in daily life between neighbors, more than 3 years ago, Hieu brought gasoline to threaten to burn down Mrs. H's house and was arrested by Nhan Chinh Police Station in coordination with Thanh Xuan District Police for threatening to kill.

Thanh Xuan District People’s Court sentenced Hieu to 3 years in prison for the above crime. In May 2017, after being released from prison, Hieu went to Hue City to visit relatives, then returned to his home in Nhan Chinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District and committed murder.

According to the commander of Nhan Chinh Police Station, Hieu is a thug. After being released from prison, he did not repent and continued to commit murder, and the victim was his neighbor.

The case is being urgently completed by the Investigation Police Agency - Thanh Xuan District Police, and will soon be prosecuted before the law./.
