Real suspect Bayern behind transfer penalty

January 20, 2016 08:23

Real Madrid are trying to find a way to blame the German club, after they were banned by FIFA from registering new players in the summer 2016 and winter 2017 transfer windows.

According to Diario Sport (based in Barcelona), Real has begun gathering the necessary information to appeal the one-year transfer ban. According to what the club provided to some close journalists, they want to accuse a "black hand" of influencing FIFA's investigation into the transfer policy at the Bernabeu stadium in recent times.

Both Real and Atletico Madrid have recently been fined and banned from registering new players for the next year, for violating regulations when signing players under the age of 18, including coach Zidane's two sons. This means that after the January transfer window closes, the two Madrid clubs will only be able to officially sign players from the summer of 2017. Barca were previously banned from signing players from the summer of 2014 until January 2016.

According to information from Diario Sport, all three investigations that FIFA has targeted major Spanish clubs in recent years were conducted after receiving anonymous accusations.

Even Real Madrid officials believe that Bayern Munich is behind the whole thing.

Zidane, the French coach recently appointed to lead Real's first team, recently complained in a press conference about FIFA's "unreasonable punishment". He did not understand why his sons were among those who violated the regulations on the transfer of minors, as all four of them had lived with their parents (Zidane and his wife) in Madrid since they were young.

Real announced that they will soon gather enough documents to appeal the penalty at FIFA's Disciplinary Committee.
