Falling from the roof, male worker of cassava starch factory in critical condition
(Baonghean.vn) - While repairing the roof, a male worker fell to the ground and was taken to the emergency room in critical condition. The victim was Nguyen Van Huong (35 years old) from Thanh Lien commune, Thanh Chuong district.
According to the victim’s family, on the morning of July 28, Mr. Huong went to work at the Cassava Starch Factory in Thanh Ngoc Commune (Thanh Chuong). While repairing the roof, Mr. Huong fell from the roof to the ground and lost consciousness.
People present at the factory quickly took Mr. Huong to the hospital for emergency treatment. After taking X-rays, tests, and consultation, the doctor said that Mr. Huong had multiple injuries, hematoma in the brain, broken neck, arm, femur, chest, abdomen, and vertebrae, etc.
Currently, Mr. Huong is receiving intensive treatment at Nghe An General Hospital. As of 8:30 p.m. on July 28, Mr. Huong is still in critical condition.

It is known that Mr. Huong and his wife have 3 young children. Mr. Huong works as a worker at the cassava starch factory in Thanh Ngoc commune, in charge of the loader department. On the morning of July 28, because the factory ran out of cassava raw materials, Mr. Huong participated in repairing the factory roof when the accident happened.
