Falling into irrigation ditch, 5-year-old child tragically drowned

According to local residents, on the afternoon of August 7, Ng. T. D (5 years old) in Hamlet 2, Cat Van Commune was riding his bike alone in front of his house. Late in the afternoon, relatives saw his bike but could not find him, so they panicked and went looking for him.
Suspected child fell into ditchirrigationnear the house, because the ditch water is big and flows strongly.

Upon receiving the information, the Cat Van commune police force coordinated with the brothers, villagers, union members, and local youth to organize a search. During the night, many people searched in the irrigation ditch.
At 10:15 p.m. on August 7, it was discovered that D had passed away.deathunder the irrigation ditch in hamlet 7, about 1km from my house. It is known that D is the youngest child (only son) in a family of 4 siblings.
