(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of November 16, 100 students from 9 universities and colleges in the province attended the Golden Bell Contest to learn about reproductive health knowledge for adolescents and young people.
The program was organized by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Population - Family Planning. The contestants were students from Vinh University, Vinh Medical University, Vinh Technical Pedagogical University, Nghe An Pedagogical College, College of Culture and Arts, Vietnam - Germany Technical Vocational College, Vietnam - Korea Technical Vocational College, Nghe An Tourism - Trade Vocational College and the host team Nghe An University of Economics.

This is the first program organized to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, towards the 54th Anniversary of Vietnam Population Day and National Action Month on Population.
Candidates took turns answering 30 questions revolving around knowledge of population, adolescent reproductive health and social knowledge.

According to the synthesis of the Provincial Department of Population and Family Planning, currently about 70% of youth and adolescents in Nghe An lack knowledge about adolescent reproductive health care.
