Immediately after its establishment, the Nghe An Newspaper Television Department made its mark by organizing the reporting and livestreaming of 28 football matches of the 24th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament in 2022. Next, the Television Department has regularly organized the production of hundreds of video clips, reports, documentaries, international dialogue and commentary programs posted on Nghe An Newspaper's electronic publications and the Newspaper's digital platforms such as: YouTube, Fanpage, TikTok, ... Notably, immediately after its establishment, many television works of Nghe An Newspaper won high prizes at Central and Nghe An press competitions, including 1 reportage winning the third prize nationwide on the topic of traffic safety; 2 reports winning the third prize and the encouragement prize of Nghe An Provincial Press Award; the documentary won 2 third prizes and the encouragement prize of the Press competition on Party building - the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award of Nghe An Province...

Next, in 2023, the Television Department produced many programs, reports, and documentaries that received public attention. These were documentaries, reports, dialogues, and interviews related to Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. The Television Department currently has 8 staff, reporters, technicians, and collaborators. Every day, it organizes production and handles a large amount of work. And only when starting to make television products on a digital media platform can we see that bringing our "brainchild" to the public is not simple. Choosing which software to use, which equipment, and how to transmit signals is a key issue. Solving this problem can only hope that the products made will be distributed to those in need. Understanding this, the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper has invested in and purchased many technical equipment, machines, vehicles, and many auxiliary software products, copyrighted music products, etc. to serve the production of television works.

Thanks to that, Nghe An Newspaper's television products are now produced in a variety of ways with different display methods and distributed through many channels on digital platforms. Since the formation of the Television section on Nghe An electronic newspaper, television products have become familiar to the public. The organization of production of products on this section has been constantly innovated, associated with important changes of electronic newspaper publications directed by the Party Committee and the Editorial Board. Specifically, if in May 2022, when Nghe An Newspaper changed its interface for the third time, innovating the news production system (CMS), exactly 2 years later, on June 13, 2024, Nghe An Newspaper continued to launch a new interface and CMS system. On the new interface, television products become part of the Multimedia section. Implementing the direction of the Editorial Board and the News - Politics Department, the television department is in charge of producing genres such as: Documentaries, reports, short videos... Each product has its own characteristics. As for short videos, to meet the reading trend of phone users, images are displayed on vertical images with a size ratio of 9:16. Short video products produced with a duration of 1-2 minutes, in addition to being posted on Nghe An electronic newspaper, are also distributed through social platforms such as: Fanpage, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram.

Since the beginning of the year, Nghe An Television - Newspaper Department has produced 250 products on current events, politics, economics, culture, society, national defense and security. Including dozens of quality documentaries and reports such as: Pu Hoat - Where the forest is forever green; The source of love flows forever; Reports on the North - South expressway project; Dynamic cities changing the face of Nghe An; Hoping to soon bring the fishing control fleet back into operation; Reports on the cultural identity of Western Nghe An...

In the new trend of multimedia communication, livestreaming is becoming more and more popular, attracting a large audience. Since February 2024, Nghe An Newspaper has coordinated with Vinh City General Hospital to implement the program "8:00 p.m. Doctor here" with a program schedule of 1 month/issue. Hot current issues of public interest are also livestreamed with the participation of leaders of departments and branches such as: The tension of the race to enter public grade 10 in Vinh City; Solving the problem of electricity usage during peak season... In particular, in the first half of June 2024, the Television Department will broadcast and livestream 37 matches at the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth - Children Football Tournament on the Newspaper's digital platforms. All matches are broadcast live on FPT Play TV Channel and FPT Play's digital platform. This is the first time that Nghe An Newspaper's television products have been posted on one of the most prestigious sports television channels in Vietnam today.

Currently, the Television Department is assigned to produce and manage 2 YouTube channels, including YouTube Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An. Of which, the YouTube channel Nghe An Newspaper alone, as of June 19, 2024, had nearly 382,000 subscribers. The number of subscribers on the entire channel in the first 6 months of 2024 reached 45,800 people; Number of views on the entire channel: 23.1 million people; Total viewing time on the entire channel in the first 6 months of 2024 reached: 2.6 million hours. Since the beginning of the year, 269 videos have been produced and published.

In addition to maintaining the strength of Nghe An Newspaper's YouTube channel in producing international commentary programs, the Television Department also produces international short videos under 1 minute in length to attract audiences and increase interaction on this platform.

For TikTok and Short video channels

In the first 6 months of the year, the TikTok channel had a total of nearly 50,000 followers. In the first half of 2024, the Television Department produced nearly 180 videos, and regularly exploited Short videos to increase subscriptions and public interaction, thanks to which the number of video views in the past 6 months reached more than 11 million; nearly 9 million people accessed the channel's products.
