Upon investigation, it was learned that the incident occurred on the morning of July 21st, along National Highway 48C, in the section passing through Na Lau village, Chau Ly commune, Quy Hop district, Nghe An province.
Speaking by phone, Mr. Vi Van Quanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chau Ly commune (Quy Hop district), confirmed: The incident occurred this morning, after which the mother and baby were taken to the Chau Ly commune health station for health monitoring. Upon examination, both the mother and baby are in stable condition.
According to Mr. Quành, initial information from locals indicated that the pregnant woman and her baby were from Bac Son commune and were being transported by a driver from the same village. When the driver saw signs of labor, he stopped the car to let her get out, and then the woman was assisted by locals in giving birth right by the roadside.
Mr. Quành added: "This is not a taxi because it's not registered; it's just a family car."
