On the morning of August 2, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed: In the past 12 hours (from 7:00 p.m. on August 1 to 7:00 a.m. on August 2),Nghe Anrecorded 06 new positive cases of Covid-19.

1.Patient NVD, male, born in 1991.Occupation: Freelance. Address: Tan Thanh, Yen Thanh. On July 30, the patient traveled by motorbike from Thuan An, Binh Duong to Nghe An on August 1. On the afternoon of August 1, the patient went to the quarantine checkpoint.Ben Thuy, Vinh City was tested twice for Covid-19 and both results were positive. The patient was then quarantined at Nghi Duc Medical Station and had an RT-PCR sample sent to Nghe An CDC. On the evening of August 1, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2.Patient HTTS, female, born in 2015.Address: Quynh Lam, Quynh Luu. The patient is F1 of the previously announced HTY patient. On July 28, the patient was quarantined at Quynh Lam Kindergarten and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. On July 31, the patient's second sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital, and on the evening of August 1, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3.Patient NTN, female, born in 1975. Address: Quynh Lam, Quynh Luu. The patient is F1 of the previously announced HTY patient. On July 28, the patient was quarantined at Quynh Lam Kindergarten and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. On July 31, the patient's second sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital, and on the evening of August 1, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4.Patient NTHA, female, born in 2015.Address: Quynh Lam, Quynh Luu. The patient is F1 of patient NNN who was previously announced. On July 31, the patient was quarantined at Thuan Nghia Kindergarten and had a sample taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the evening of August 1, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

5.Patient HNTL, female, born in 2011. Address: Quynh Giang, Quynh Luu. The patient is F1 and is the child of the previously announced NTT patient. On July 30, the patient was quarantined at Quynh Giang Primary School and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. On July 31, the patient's second sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital, and on the evening of August 1, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

6.Patient VBP, born in 1988. Ethnicity: H'Mong. Address: Muong Long, Ky Son. On July 29, the patient traveled by motorbike from Binh Duong province to Nghe An. On August 1, the patient arrived at the quarantine checkpoint in Hong Tien, Chieu Luu, Ky Son. He was tested twice for Covid-19 and both results were positive. After that, the patient was quarantined at Ky Son Ethnic Boarding Secondary School and had an RT-PCR sample sent to CDC. On the morning of August 2, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
